Acquisitions Advisory is the Mergers and Acquisitions Division of Dynamic Directions, an award-winning coaching and consulting firm specializing in building a better life and practice for financial advisors. Dynamic Directions works with more than 100 advisors across the country, including members of the Barron’s Top 1,200 Advisors list and Barron’s Top 100 Women Advisors.
Acquisitions Advisory is here to provide guidance and support to financial advisors who are planning to buy or sell a practice or merge with another practice. Who We Are
Travis Ray Chaney, CFP®, CMC™
Travis Ray Chaney, CFP® and Certified Master Coach™ is CEO of Dynamic Directions, a coaching and consulting firm that helps independent and entrepreneurial financial advisors double their GDC in three years or less with half the clients. Several of Travis’ clients have achieved Barron’s Top 1,200 Independent Advisor and Barron’s Top 100 Female Advisors status. In his role as a coach and consultant, he has been involved in dozens of buy, sell and succession-planning transactions over the last decade.
Travis is a former award-winning financial advisor who consistently ranked in the top 1.5% of financial advisors at his broker dealer with more than 10,000 representatives while working one week per month with a small client base. Travis is also a passive partner in a financial planning firm concentrating more on executive duties instead of seeing clients. He is a member of the National Speakers Association (www.nsaspeaker.org), Financial Planning Association (www.fpanet.org), and has had Dr. Nido Qubein (www.nidoqubein.com) as his mentor for almost 15 years.

William A. (Drew) Watson, CFP®
Drew is an award-winning advisor with 23 years of experience running a successful top-notch practice. His success consistently puts him in the top 1/2 percent of overall production in his broker dealer. He speaks, coaches, consults and trains financial advisors to create growth in their practice in the areas of marketing and investment portfolios. Drew also works with advisors on case analysis for high net worth clients.
Drew served as the president of a community-owned bank for several years, giving him insight and experience with the intricacies of financing mergers and acquisitions.

Harry Armon is a practicing financial advisor and the managing director of a financial planning firm and has been in the shoes of your high net-worth clients and he understands the complexity of the tax and estate planning issues they face.
Harry’s experience as a partner in a multi-national defense electronics business and an investment banker with hundreds of millions of dollars in deals gives him a unique perspective and deep experience in buying and selling businesses and planning for the future.

Jon Randall, CMC™
Jon Randall is a Certified Master Coach® whose clients average more than $1.2 MM in GDC. He focuses on helping financial advisors get to where they want to go with their life and practice.
Jon works with some of the top financial professionals in the industry. He is a national presenter at financial service industry conventions and workshops around the country. Financial advisors coached by Jon consistently grow at a significantly higher rate than the average advisor. His specialties in consulting are in the areas of marketing, investments, financial planning and practice management.
